She's going to kill me for posting this picture up, but you know what ... she never checks this blog so I can pretty much write anything I want. Again, the whole week has blown past and I haven't had time to update this blog as much as I would have liked. Fortunately tonight I have Old Testament class and so depending on the speed of the lecture, I might be able to do some 'mild' updates - not that OT isn't very interesting mind you. In case you didn't know, I did most of my blog updates during one of my most favourite classes last semester (New Testament with Harris) ... so it wasn't because the class was dull, but ... in an evening 3.5 hour class, there are moments where there's a lull and being the obsessive multi-tasker that I am, I just find it pretty easy to post up a pic and write a few lines.
I'll write a bit more about Disneyworld in some later post, but this picture was taken infront of the new American Idol experience at Hollywood Studios. I couldn't persuade May Yen to enter, but Ps. Jon Siow did. He got some pretty good reviews/comments from the producer, but ultimately didn't make the cut through the auditions to perform live on stage.
I'm doing this post (and a quick tribute to my wife) because most (if not all) of what I am able to do is due to her and her champion attitude. She's great! I realised this probably more when I was holding the fort last weekend when she was in New York with Seki to celebrate her birthday (ok, I'll put some pics up in another post). Between the kids waking up at night, the many kids activities and somehow cleaning and getting meals ... I was completely wasted! It really was a challenge (I know, its because I'm so bad at this stuff), and the whole experience has made me appreciate my wife a whole lot more.
She's able to handle the whole house so well that sometimes its almost hidden in the background. And then to top it off, she'll have enough energy left over for me!
So. I don't know how many people are voting, but May Yen ... you're my American Idol! Aussie Idol! .. Aussie .. err. some word without Idol-worship connotations .. mmm. my Aussie in America person who is a champion! yeah!
so sweet Chris... :-)
Thumbs up on this one!!
